Several years ago, when I first met Tanzila @iamtanzilakhan in Dubai as both speakers at a conference, our connection was instant. Since then, each meeting feels like recharging. Over lunch this week, our discussion topic was ”Go where you are valued and respected.” ”It’s incredible how society keeps us fighting for crumbs when God / Allah wants to give us the whole bakery,” I said. “Drop that crumb! I’m trying to give you the whole thing.” “Exactly,” Tanzila said. “You will feel the level of respect based on whether it’s a crumb or the bakery.” “Desperation brings dignity to its knees always,” I shared. “Desperation kills aura,” she added. “So what’s your word of the year again?” “Manifest.” “Money first?” “No, manifest,” I chuckled. “Well, you better manifest money first too!” “We need to move differently in 2025 because external energy disrupts plans,” I said. ”This definitely happened last year.” “Done. Digested. Defecated,” Tanzila said. “Make sure it’s done and digested before defecating across social media.” Our laughter drew stares from nearby diners.
