A quick three-day stopover in London made me realize just how much I’ve missed this city. Over the years, it’s been reduced to just a transit hub en route to Europe or Africa.
In true fashion, she welcomed us with overcast skies and dreary weather, but this time around, it felt quite refreshing. First order of the day upon arrival was digging into some fish and chips drenched in malt vinegar.
Then it was re-orienting myself – we hung out around the Paddington area for easy access.
Breakfast each day was a sinful dose of baked beans, pork sausages, black (blood) pudding, and marinated button mushrooms – just 10% of the unbelievable buffet spread at our hotel.

Check out the London gallery – I posted the low-resolution version of the photographs.

@Leigh – Fo real!
Yum! I’m a big fan of the English (and Irish) breakfast. Have one in the morning, and you can hike all day and not have to worry about eating until 6pm. 🙂
Wendy & Ola – Thanks!
