A wish, an ask, and a testimony

I am beyond thrilled to share that my visual storytelling project ÅFRÖSWÈ̩DÉ̩ has been shortlisted for the Global Arts Prize.

At the beginning of this year when I was creating my vision book for 2026, I wrote that I simply want to create.

That I want to solely use my talents to create work I am deeply proud of.

To see that simple wish, made to God and the Universe, continue to manifest in such spectacular ways has been nothing short of humbling.

So I am beyond thrilled to share that my visual storytelling project ÅFRÖSWÈ̩DÉ̩ has been shortlisted for the Global Arts Prize – BlueSky Awards by The Global Leaders Institute.

Out of thousands of submissions, only thirty (30) initiatives (five in my category) were shortlisted.

So when I got the email, I was overwhelmed and deeply moved.

The Global Arts Prize celebrates artists and creative ventures spearheading an innovative approach to the relevance of arts in our time. Each year, a generous prize is awarded between two winners — regardless of size, location, or focus area — for their contributions to the future of culture.

“The future of culture” -> ÅFRÖSWÈ̩DÉ̩…. ÅFRÖNỌ̀RDÍC
