    I loved it! I have some viking blood in me, so seem to have a certain romanticism around Sweden. We had such a wonderful time there this summer that I think it is even MORE pronounced now.

    I really enjoy the customs and culture. Perhaps we have just been lucky, but the people we have met from Sweden have been exceptional. I fell in love with Sweden when I first visited in 1988 and am so grateful I got to share it with my family, for now I am even more in love with it.

    Thanks for your wonderfully written post that let me know even more about another lovely tradition on land that I have walked!
