Postcard: Colorful Cesenatico, Italy

Cesenatico, Italy

Cesenatico is a colorful seaside community and port town along the Adriatic Coast with a strong fishing culture that has thrived for centuries. Its main claim to fame is that its canal was surveyed and designed by Leonardo da Vinci. Yes, THE Leonardo da Vinci. It has an open air maritime museum with historic shipping vessels on display along its canal.
