Postcard: The ultimate base of Swedish Food #NaPhoPoMo

Swedish Food

As part of National Photo Posting Month (#NaPhoPoMo), I’ll try to share a daily photo (postcard) for the month of November alongside my regular blog musings. This month, I’ll be focusing and sharing photos from my own backyard – Sweden.

When it comes to Swedish food, I often joke that my husband can cook potatoes perfectly in his sleep. Perfectly cooked yellow almond potatoes are the carbohydrate base of pretty much every traditional Swedish dish (husmanskost). And yes, that includes mashing them too.

You can view more photos from Sweden in my image bank.
