Been dreaming of Tibet for awhile now. Catching a marathon session of the BBC’s evocatively beautiful Wild China on Travel Channel did nothing to quell the lust.
After reviewing Idealist.org’s Handbook, that familiar fire has been burning again. While travel for the next few months till December will be confined to stateside exploits, no doubt, volunteering in places like Tibet, Morocco, and Azerbaijan have been flooding my thoughts for next year.
In the meantime, I’ll be feeding my wanderlust through this piece – Top Spots for Penguin Peeping.

I have been to Dharamshala and Mcleod Ganj in India which is the temporary capital of Tibetan government in exile. Tibetan culture is one of the purest form of Buddhism. I wish to visit Tibet someday. Must be a great place.

I’ve always been drawn to Tibet as well. The political situation makes me leery but I’d love to vicariously travel through your experiences!
