I am beyond thrilled to be joining venture capitalist Antler and its 2020 Cohort of Entrepreneurs. I’ll be expanding my network to meet like-minded individuals who want to change the world in varying ways.
When the pandemic hit and forced us all indoors, I did a lot of reflecting in terms of my direction when it came to work-life balance, the legacy I’m building, and the continued impact I want to make in other people’s lives.
I also pondered deeply on my own evolution as I move and transition to various next stages and levels. And one thing I kept coming back to is continuing to diversify in ways that bring in income while I sleep as well as uplifting and supporting others.
I run my own agency called Geotraveler Media which is an umbrella company covering many projects, and I’ve been involved in several initiatives over the years.
As with any creative mind, we’re always brimming with ideas and pondering why we can’t seem to carve out enough time in the day to light them all on fire and get them burning brightly.
So, I focused the month of April on getting my Entrepreneurship certificate from Harvard Business School Online.
I’ve been feverishly scribbling down business ideas and when Antler opened up its application process for the next group of cohorts, I knew this was an opportunity I wanted to take to push me to the next level and connect with the right network, mentors, and advisors.
Needless to say, I’m thrilled to announce that I’m joining Antler’s cohort of entrepreneurs and founders this autumn in Stockholm.
Out of thousands of applicants, I was hand-picked to connect with fellow founders and build something great. Antler only takes 1% to 1.5% of applicants, so that in itself is a huge honor.
Who knows… I may just find those amazing co-founders and be part of an exciting team that builds the next unicorn startup out of Stockholm.
