The Jumbo Hostel in Stockholm has been all over the news recently. Was at the airport two weeks ago to survey the Boeing 747 hostel as well as interview its owner for the Matador Network.
As an artist drawn to bold, loud colors, I love his choice of colors in this room – dark blue and orange.
These happen to be complementary colors on the color wheel that work great together. Other complements are yellow & purple, and red & green.
In the right shades, of course.
Wonderful colors. I have a sofa that is a similar orange. And yellow walls. I too like bright colors.
Love the photo. Definitely an interesting place to stay. Love innovation paired with recycling.
