I’m currently writing this from the open terrace of a small hotel in the heart of Moshi, Tanzania. I am here because I’ll be speaking about creative content creation for travel brands at Kilifair Travel Trade Show alongside my NordicTB co-founder Janicke Hansen.
Just two days prior, we were watching in awe as a herd of elephants elegantly made their way to a watering hole at dusk in the heart of the Serengeti. Moments later, we dined as eyes of a nearby pride of lions glowed in the dark a couple hundred feet away…

When I was a child, I dreamed of traveling around the world and getting paid to do so. This privilege is not lost on me. This is what I now do, and I am forever grateful for this blessing and opportunity. Yes, I have a family that I’ve always longer for too, so both aren’t mutually exclusive.
On the contrary, they are two amazing blessings that have been bestowed upon me
Saying it has been a crazy few weeks is a gross understatement. I have been tied down with work and assignments so deeply that I haven’t had a proper update on my blog in awhile.
And beyond that, I’ve been flying on back-to-back assignments across the globe – from China and Hong Kong to Switzerland and Tanzania all within a month.
But this also means I have some amazing stories, videos, and photography to share with you all over the next few weeks. As I sort through them all, here are just some quick updates.
Latest news on NordicTB collaborations
I am so proud of our NordicTB Collective of professional travel bloggers and storytellers here in the Nordics and all we’ve been able to accomplish in just two years. You can check out all our latest campaigns and collaborations here.
Here is our latest video made in collaboration with the Catalan Tourist Board and Visit Barcelona.
Latest news on writing & photography
I’ve been writing a lot more opinion pieces and straight narrative travel stories which are the types of work I love to be putting out into the world. And I’m grateful to be in a position to be able to write less Top 10 lists and more creative non-fiction.
Here are links to a few recent pieces.

I’ve been on a lot of photography assignments including doing some corporate work and the occasional private request. I’m not a wedding or event photographer by choice because I live and breathe travel and lifestyle photography.
I also have an exciting photo shoot with a popular Swedish chef for an equally popular magazine coming up soon, so I am extremely excited about that.
As for my current dreams, I would love to have my own studio space in Stockholm someday… A place where I can work on portraits and special projects. A place where I can also start painting and drawing again…
What’s next?
A lot….
My well of gratitude is bottomless for this lifestyle that I am passionately building. If I get up at 4am to do something, I truly love it.
But above all, I am also looking for some downtime this summer with my lovely family.
