I haven’t actively posted for a few days mostly because I’ve been trying to get those last few articles out the door before the end of the year. But I do hope to change that come 2012. Giving this blog a little more loving, that is. My mind is filled with so many ideas, unwritten stories, photo archives, and work projects, and I’m looking forward to picking that focus word for 2012.
Despite the deadlines, one thing I’ve been doing is spending a lot more time offline with friends – catching up on their lives, being there for them physically, and just listening to them – beyond the noise that comes with living online.
And much of that offline time included devouring various Expat-style Thanksgiving dinner versions as well as these decadent mini gingerbread cupcakes with lingonberry cream icing from Cupcakes Stockholm.

@Kristin (Camels & Chocolate) – They were gingerbread with lingonberry icing.
Are those bad boys candy cane cupcakes? Regardless, a cupcake is a cupcake is a cupcake, and I wouldn’t turn it down no matter what flavor! (I AM A CUPCAKE FIEND.)
@Andi – I shamelessly ate at least 4 of those cupcakes. In addition to 2 other flavors.
@Adiya (Muse Origins) – Haha! Thanks
@Jen – They were very yummy in a festive seasonal way.
Lingonberry cupcakes…sounds yummy….!!! Never tried it this flavour in a cupcake before, but I should really try to look for recipes online.
Those cakes are jumping into my mouth…in my head. SIGH
