Looking for where to go in 2016?
Here’s one of the quickest ways to induce wanderlust. Scan through all the destinations an airline flies to on their website. Guaranteed.
Whenever I’m onboard a flight, I usually grab its in-flight magazine and flip to the back pages, curiously looking at where those arched lines fall as they travel from one continent to another across the pages. This gets me thinking, planning, and dreaming about my next travels before I even arrive at my destination.
Still deciding on where to explore in 2016?
Austrian Airlines flies to exciting destinations all over the world, and Skyscanner compares prices on millions of flights, and also compares hotels and car rentals worldwide (I actually have their app installed and regularly use it as my first search engine for flights).
I’ve used Austrian Airlines before in the past and I’ve visited Austria a couple times as well – from Vienna’s classical elegance to Salzburg’s historic charm. So I hopped over to check out what other destinations they fly to from Stockholm.
And wanderlust hit in full force…
Azerbaijan, Japan, Jordan, Maldives, Sri Lanka…
Tokyo has been on my travel radar for awhile. I was planning to explore Tokyo last year to visit friends but that trip fell through so maybe 2016 might work out. I’m also planning a trip to China later this year so seeing Beijing and Shanghai on that list perked me up as well.
Here are some of my favorite destinations they fly to which you can explore in 2016.
