As promised, I’ve picked just a few photos from over 300 I took on Saturday – View Gallery. As a travel photographer who tries to capture true-to-life portraits of people exhibiting various forms of elation, I infused that vivid style of photography into this fashion shoot that shows off various ways of wearing African fabric.
During an outreach program in Nicaragua, our Spanish translator Freddy takes a quick nap while leaning on a tree – his strong facial profile against the backdrop of volcanoes in the distance instantly transports you to Latin America, giving you a sense of place.
Observing animals can be quite as interesting as humans – from smiling alpacas and synchronized guinea fowls to monkeys guzzling down soda. Taken in Norrbotten (Sweden) over the summer, I kept wondering what these cows must have been thinking or saying to themselves. My caption – Honey? What on earth is she wearing?! Any ideas …
