Postcard: Autumn in Stockholm #NaPhoPoMo

Autumn in Stockholm

As part of National Photo Posting Month (#NaPhoPoMo), I’ll try to share a daily photo (postcard) for the month of November alongside my regular blog musings. This month, I’ll be focusing and sharing photos from my own backyard – Sweden.

This has been the warmest autumn in Stockholm ever recorded so far. The leaves will be gone by the end of the month yet it feels weird to not be bundled up a lot more. I mean, I definitely have a scarf around my neck and a jacket. But that’s about it. No hat or gloves for me yet.

Over on Slow Travel Stockholm, I shared a ton more photos depicting autumn in Stockholm from two of the city’s popular parks – Humlegården in Östermalm and Djurgården which is its own island. While autumn isn’t my personal favorite season (spring is), I still love grabbing the camera, milling around town, and soaking up the vibrant colors.

You can view more photos from Sweden in my image bank.
