I’m excited to introduce you all to my fabulous intern Pauline Christelle Nemb who has been working with me for the last two months. Right away, I already knew Pauline and I would work very well together based on how meticulous she is, insightful, curious, energetic, and responsive. Finding the right person with the right mindset and work ethic I need is extremely important. I’ve been in this industry long enough to not only amass a solid network of contacts through mutual respect, but to also know that a healthy dose of humility gets you much farther in life.
So I’m super happy to not only be working with Pauline on a variety of social media tasks but to also be a mentor to her. Here’s an interview with Pauline so you can learn more about her and her dreams as well.
Where are you from and where are you based? Why do you like your city?
I am originally from Cameroon, born and raised in the capital city Yaoundé. I am currently based in Mainz city, the capital of the Rhineland-Palatinate state in Germany. There are numerous reasons why I do love where I currently reside but to name a few, I would say:
– It made me feel at home really quickly and it is safe.
– It is close to metropolitan cities like Frankfurt and Wiesbaden. It’s great for tourism and exploration.
– The student’s semester card allows me great mobility in both the Rhineland-Palatinate region and Hesse region of Germany, where Wiesbaden is the City capital.
– Great opportunities to discover Germany’s culture.
