  • Did you know I used to be a programmer and then a system architect?   • Very few exhibitions move me to tears…and the impeccably curated HAIR IS ART: HAIR IS IDENTITY experience by @fulanibraidbar did just that. A singular one of its kind in Sweden, I visited the exhibit in Malmö which chronicles the cultural importance of African hairstyles and the deep rooted identity they embody 🖤 According to the exhibit, it “centres Afro hair as artistic expression, cultural knowledge, and lived identity. Through sculptural wigs, braided forms, photography, and live performance, it invites visitors to experience hair beyond aesthetics - as heritage, resistance, and self-definition.
