Spent Saturday at a wonderful Fourth of July BBQ party thrown by one of my American friends Scarlet and her family. Check out more photos on my Sweden.se blog.
This section spotlights travel experiences, articles, and photography covering places and regions I’ve explored in all parts of Europe – North, South, East, and West.

Today’s weather in Stockholm couldn’t have been more perfect for celebrating Sweden’s much loved Midsummer weekend.
I love a good hotel breakfast buffet but after about the third day, there are only so many combinations you can try before boredom sets in (I know, first world problem).
Just turned in 12 photos to my editor covering Stockholm’s underground art. Picking out of 137 photos was tough and the photo above is not part of the submission, but it was super cool to stop and just focus on beautiful work I often pass and – dare I say – take for granted some times.
Stockholm is currently awash in vibrant colors and the city couldn’t be more beautiful right now. Over 800,000 tulips and daffodils were planted last fall, and I’m glad they did.
One of the reasons why I’m loving Northern Sweden more and more each time I’m up there.
